John 6: 68-69
Simon Peter answered,
‘Lord, who shall we go to?
You have the message of eternal life,
and we believe;
We know that you are the Holy One of God.’
Jesus is The Bread of Life. He humbled Himself to come to this world, to us sinners, in the form of bread, in Eucharist.
The Eucharist we receive every week (or everyday) is truly the real Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity of Christ. Jesus said ‘This is My Body’ and ‘This is My Blood’, and we believe, just as Simon Peter believed.
He who multiplied loaves and fishes, He who transformed water into wine, He who gave His Body and Blood to humanity, can make it happen.
He said ‘If you do not eat the Flesh of the Son of Man and drink His Blood, you will not have life in you.’ Thanks Jesus for giving us the Eucharist.
